HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The University of Southern Mississippi student group “A Show of Hands,” will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10 at the Oak Grove Primary School Performing Arts Center. The group performs concerts using American Sign Language along with music to help bridge the gap between the hearing and deaf worlds.
The performance will feature Oak Grove 6th grade EXCEL students. Tickets are $3 each, and may be purchased from Oak Grove Primary School by calling 601.794.8137
“A Show of Hands” is comprised of students of various disciplines at Southern Miss and led by Dr. Jerry Buisson, assistant professor in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences in the Southern Miss College of Health.
