Sacred Heart’s Seafood Jamboree was in full swing on Saturday and it continues Sunday until 4pm. Here are a few of the sights and sounds from yesterday.
Sacred Heart Seafood Jamboree! It’s back…set for Sept. 25 & 26. The Seafood Jamboree is from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Sat. and continues on Sun. from 12 Noon – 4 p.m. at the parking lot next to Sacred Heart Elementary School at the corner of Southern Ave. and Walnut St. The two-day event kicks off Sat. Sept. 25 at 8:30 a.m. with a 5-K run (registration 7:30 – 8:15 a.m.) at Jackson Station on Longleaf Trace. Menu features gumbo and shrimp, catfish and oyster plates along with other dishes that include jambalaya, hamburgers & hotdogs.
